The Next Steps

People have many different reasons for seeking a counsellor, I understand that this can be a big step which can sometimes feel difficult. Here are some simple steps which I hope will help to begin your process.

Step One

In whichever way is best for you, please get in contact with myself, I will always aim to respond within 48 hours.



Step Two

I offer a free telephone consultation where we can have a chat about your therapy, I can answer any questions you may have and we can book in your first session.



Step Three

Some clients are unsure of what to expect within their first session. Even if you have had previous therapy, ways in which therapists work may vary. In your first session we will look at how we will work together and talk about any expectations you may have.


Step Four

We can regularly review our work together, just like other aspects of your therapy, how many sessions you have and when you end is an individual decision based on what feels right for you.
